Pre-Notice of Race

Following the successful X-Yachts Solent Cup held in Hamble in 2005, many clients have requested us to organise a similar event.

July 12th to 14th 2007 will re-unite X-Yachts owners and crew on Solent waters, Southampton, England.

Three days of superb racing and entertainment once again hosted by the Royal Southern Yacht Club Hamble.

X-Yachts look forward to welcoming both our old and new
“X-Yachts Family Members” to this wonderful event.

Hamble, Southampton, England.

Race Area
Solent waters, Southampton.

Berthing
Available at the Royal Southern Yacht Club on a first come first served basis. Competitors based in the Hamble River are encouraged to remain on their normal berths. Additional moorings will be made available by the Hamble River Harbour Master.

Maximum Participants
50 yachts and approx 500 sailors. Entries will be confirmed on this page upon receipt of payment.






Rating
For the Family and Sport Class the X-Yachts rating or
IRC will apply.
For the X-35 One Design strict Class rules will apply.

Classes
Racing will be divided into both Family and Sport classes, thereby giving all X-Yachts owners the opportunity to compete at the level they choose. 

Family Class
Mainsail and one headsail per race allowed.
No spinnaker.

Sport Class A
Under 11.4m. Full sail wardrobe. 

Sport Class B
Over 11.4m. Full sail wardrobe.

X-332 Class
National Championships.

X-35 Class
National UK X-35 One Design Championship.

Notice of Race
The final Notice of Race will be available in May 2007 and will be published on this site. Sailing instruction will be handed out upon registration.

Entry fee
£250 Hull length below 11.4m (incl X-37)
£300 Hull length 11.4m and above

Late entries accepted with 25% increase.

Upon receipt of entry form, you will receive the social booking information by e-mail.
